Finding A Gift Can Be Fun When You Are At The Right Place
When I was manager of a Fairweather store it was very important to me to make sure the staff, and visitors, had fun.
I loved to hold special events for celebrations, like Valentine’s Day.
On Valentine’s Day I would go in early and put heart stickers in various places that had a gift attached to each one. When the staff came in, before opening, they could try and find the stickers. When I opened the doors the visitors were told of the stickers and they could look too until all were found.
I would then put the music on, to give everyone more energy.
So here are the staff looking for stickers, at the same time as helping the customers who are trying stuff on and trying to find the stickers too. Got a little crazy!
The gifts weren’t big. Chocolates, flowers, etc., but everyone had so much fun.
Except the store next door. Birks was, and still is, a high end jewelry store and they were very low key.
They didn’t like the music.
But we worked together and it all worked out in the end, well after talks with the mall Manager to turn the music down 🙂
